The first day at the brick factory (a structure made of corrugated metal roof held up with small trees that had been cut for their height and width) was a whole new experience after 20+ years with HFH. One of the LaGallina villagers impressed all of us with her ability to scope up water in a five gallon bucket and haul it on the top of her head to the spot where we were mixing the ingredients for an adobe brick.
