About Me
The first time I volunteered with Habitat was on a weekend retreat when I was a freshman in college. Three days of building in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the middle of autumn...who wouldn't fall in love? I was hooked.
I've also:
--served on the Executive Board of The Catholic University of America's Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter (serving as Spring Break Chair and Vice President)
--led/co-led 4 Collegiate Challenge Spring Break trips (Boca Raton, FL; Austin, TX; Americus, GA; Rocky Mount NC)
--co-led 2 Global Village trips (Kuching, Malaysia; Darkhan, Mongolia)--currently planning a 3rd to Ethiopia!
--participated in numerous one-day builds (Americus, GA; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Washington, D.C.-Metro area)
Currently, I work in the HFHI headquarters, located in Americus, GA. I met my husband here (yes, we are a Habi-couple!) and we count ourselves very lucky to be able to work for a cause that is doing so much good in the world.
