About Me
My first experience with Habitat for Humanity was a Global Village trip to Cameroon in 2009, and I was immediately addicted. My team worked alongside the locals and we were able to meet some of the extremely grateful future homeowners. The two-week trip was so amazing that I went home and started to volunteer with the Greater Miami chapter building homes in Liberty City, and upon moving to Columbus I began volunteering with the local chapter of Habitat here. Last summer I traveled with Global Village to Brazil and even though my luggage did not make it there and I had to make-do and work for a week with what I had in a backpack, I am again ready to head out on another adventure to help more families. It is a tremendous honor to be part of the first Habitat for Humanity team to return to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.
